Crak – Giotto (2019)

Imperial Pastry Stout aged in Chardonnay barrels for 24 months with a large amount of Panettone, an Italian sweet and fluffy bread with candied fruit and raisins typical of Christmas and new year period;

Very dark and hazy, light doesn’t pass through it. It is completely without foam and it looks full and oily;

The main aroma you can feel is the Italian Panettone mixed with delicate macerated, alcoholic and fruity notes that perfectly matches together, creating a wonderful cake aroma that reveals soft coffee and toasted notes behind it;

Completely flat, full and oily body perfect for the flavors complexity of that beer;

Panettone, sweet, fruity and alcoholic flavors dominate also in the mouth with soft notes of coffee and chocolate, everything perfectly balanced by the heavy body and a final delicate bitterness that completes the sip, leaving at the end fruity, alcoholic and toasted notes also in the nose;
